Our Beliefs

  1. Our Book: The Christian Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the only inspired word of God and is infallible, thus our only source of authority and doctrine (II Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 3:16).

  1. Our Lord: Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the very Son of God who came in the flesh, was crucified, buried and bodily raised from the dead by His own power (I Corinthians 15:3-5; John 14:1-6)..

  1. Our Hope: By virtue of His death on the cross, Jesus made it possible for all of humanity to be forgiven of their sin and gain eternal life (Romans 5:5-8; I Corinthians 6:9-11; Hebrews 9:15).

  1. Our World-view: Jesus wants all of humanity to become His disciple (follower) as stated in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and it is the church’s duty to make and grow disciples.

  1. Our Goal: As disciples, we are to bring glory to God the Father by loving Him and loving our neighbor (Matthew 22:37-40) as demonstrated through our daily lives (Philippians 2:5-8).

  1. Our Motivation: We anticipate the return of Jesus (I Thessalonians 4:13-18) who will take all believers to their eternal reward and fairly judge all others who will be sent to the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15).

  1. Our Paradigm: We are to strive to plant new churches to give even more people the opportunity to hear the Good News that they can be saved (Acts 1:8).
